Corinthian International Parking Services – “Turnover was high and there were unprofessional co-workers in the mix.”
Pros
Good opportunities to make contacts with some of Corinthians' business customers; leave for a new job with benefits and respect. Training was competent but not formal.
Cons
Unprofessional work environment with co-workers who create a dysfunctional workplace. Leadership was overworked and worn-out, so they could not do all that was needed to prevent turnover and train employees and make the company great. Unfortunately, the prevailing attitude of management/owner and perception was that employees are not valued. eg. " Your lucky to have a job" No Benefits. Personnel should not be involved in minor matters.
Advice to Senior Management
Value employees, attract great people, train employees who struggle or terminate co-workers who hurt the team and culture of company. Provide health/dental benefits to all full-time employees. Listen to employees who bring opportunities, money and friends into the company.
