Job itself rewarding, coworkers borderline abusive

Stablehand (Former Employee) Ithaca, NY

Prosraise cute foals
physically active
no need to dress nicely for work
around (mostly healthy) animals all day
supervisor MADE us take breaks

Conscertain longtime employees constantly verbally abusive, management does nothing about it
required to complete online training on various methods of euthanasia
barns lack temperature control
constantly cleaning up mistakes made by students from the vet school

Advice to Senior ManagementDo not tolerate workplace bullying. Many employees were purposefully nasty to anyone newer than them even after months or years of working together and created a hostile workplace environment.
