Current Employee - Food Service Worker in Ithaca, NY
Current Employee - Food Service Worker in Ithaca, NY

I have been working at Cornell University part-time (less than an year)

Pros

Friendly workers both at my levels and above, simple relationships are easy to form, flexible hours. Certain dining halls have better food than others, this is a plus for food service workers because you get free food (all you can eat) during your shift.

Cons

After-work life is not as exciting, of course this is not really Cornell's fault, but probably should be something to think about if you prefer a city life.
