Pros

Cornell has many professor who excel in their areas. In my experience, I was able to collaborate with many talented researchers outside my research group.

And, it has good libraries and facilities to help your research.

Cons

Winter weather might be worse than your expectation.

    Pros

    Very good benefit package. Stable position. Very good university that offers free courses to employees.

    Cons

    Low salaries for staff positions and limited opportunities to grow. It is tooo hard to move up. You keep doing the same things forever.

    Pay more attention to staff. They are as important as faculty
