I worked at Cornell University part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Dynamic work environment, talented grad-students, and a fantastic community. Nice perks within the university as well, such as Microsoft Office, among others. As an employee there is also great access to the COE, which has rentals for a variety of outdoor gear including kayaks. They offer some pretty exceptional classes as well, such as Ice Climbing, which in the Ithaca area is on legal through the University.

    Cons

As Cornell University is a world class institution, folks are extremely busy, so at times it can be difficult to connect with others.
