“CBC doesnt invest the time or energy into the growth of its people.”
Current Employee – been working at Corner Bakery
Pros – the pay is decent, anything over 40 hours is overtime, i averaged 50+ hours a week.
Cons – unless you have OPEN availability you will not get promoted. closing shifts are from 1130-10pm, which is your full day. The GM's have been there forever so promotions into that position are far and few. the AD's dont have a clue what goes on in the stores.
Advice to Senior Management – invest the time into those who want to grow with the company, the people that have that passion and drive. those who are just "going through the motions" will end up burning you in the long run.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
