Pros

Competitive wages Lots of overtime Gain good experience

Cons

Not enough training for new staff, most new hires quit within a month They burn out their seasoned staff members Lots of cliques in management

Advice to Management

Talk to your staff members, be fair, and let them know their opinion matters. Working in corrections is very hard, dealing with inmates and security.

    I worked at Correct Care Solutions full-time

    Pros

    Staff and home office personnel are friendly and helpful. Very straight forward as to what is required to be done everyday. Stay busy enough to where the day/sift is over before you know it.

    Cons

    Is very fast paced and not a long time for training orientation. Have to be ready to hit the deck running. Need to improve the training/orientation of both the HSA and DON programs to ensure success. Poor communication between the executive and regional and site leadership. Executive leadership is more about making the client happy than seeing what can be done to support the site leadership and ensure their success. The client is NOT always right.
