    Pros

Great products from around the world. Fantastic team of associates to work with. The opportunity to go to free wine tastings.

    Cons

Awful management, no praise for work being done, too much work for little pay, benefits are awful since BB&B took over

    Advice to Management

Maybe not focus on sales and budget, and get on the sales floor and work. Stop hiding out in the office all day. Answer the phone when it's been ringing like 10 times in a row. Stop lying to associates. It has happened so much, associates think you're full of crap!! Stop being so concerned about writing up associates, it's ridiculous. Actually do some work instead of pawning it off on associates. Learn how to build fixtures and setting lundia correctly instead of reusing it and doing it wrong. Stop worrying about explorer numbers, nobody cares. The change in the explorer program is completely stupid. Learn to read schematics instead of looking at them and walking away because you are clueless. How can you hire a new supervisor with no retail experience and bring them in making a lot more money than supervisors that have been there a while. Favoritism at it's best!! Hiring people that you have worked with in the past so you can create your own little team. Look over associates who have proved themselves for advancement, and give the positions to people who are clearly not qualified: ex. Temp supervisor. (Bad choice) Tell associates to apply for a position that is opening, interview them, and tell them, sorry we found someone else, Then don't approach them and tell them they would be perfect for the position. Stop talking to associates and supervisors like we are 5 year old kids. We are adults. Stop micro-managing. It doesn't work. The associates think it's ridiculous and laugh at you behind your back.
