Pros

Good pay, there's usually always something to do so time goes quick and the 50% discount is really good, its the best discount i've ever had at any job

Cons

Being forced to tell every single customer about the promotions, offering them about three different things at the register, music is really loud, roster was always changing, an if they called you up to ask you to work, you were in big trouble if you werent able to, which was really annoying being expected to drop everything

Advice to Management

Turn the music down, it doesnt set the mood, lots of mums and older people complain! And customers get annoyed when you follow them around the store, I dont think you should go so overboard with the customer service

    Pros

The 30% discount isn't too bad, and you guaranteed work at a number of different stores if you're available. Customers are generally okay, although it's uncomfortable pushing the special offers onto every person who comes in.

    Cons

As a younger staff member, I was completely out of my depth - all of the other staff were in 2nd or 3rd year uni, and none of them made me feel welcome. I was never told about my shifts, I just had to call up every week or so and check whether I was working. Occasionally turned up for shifts to find they were canceled. I was never formally trained, just thrown in the deep end and expected to learn. POS software was SO outdated, never worked and made things so much more difficult. Never got more than a 5 hour shift.

    Advice to Management

Update your POS software, pay your employees more and TRAIN your casual staff. Make sure all stores have proper contact methods in place.
