Pros

Great benefits, including vacation & sick time, and health insurance. Family-like atmosphere, and employees are given credit for having good qualifications and skills. Company shows great support for those with great qualifications and backgrounds and who do good work. Loyalty is important in the company, from both sides, and company rewards employee loyalty.

Cons

Employees often feel disconnected from the rest of the company, as it is small, and sends individuals to different offices, so that people are working with a client without other team members from the company. Program management does not often communicate, further isolating lone employees. Former members of headquarters personnel report favoritism by senior leadership. It being a small company limits career mobility and advancement opportunities.

Advice to Senior Management

Continue to establish and communicate standards for treatment of employees. Some standards have been established, but more are needed to ensure that all employees are treated fairly.
