I have been working at Covance

Pros – Very easy to get started, training is optimal for anyone with a high school education. Management was eager to assign difficult projects to eager employees. Ideas for optimization were met by management with eager ears.

Cons – No real career advancement available if you start too low in the company, mainly blue collar work. Even if you have a degree and have many accomplishments, you will be looked over. Management was horrible at best. No real supervision or management was available over the course of my career. In a performance based department this is not ideal, and many hours were wasted in overtime.

Advice to Senior Management – At least in certain departments, supervisors need to supervise, not shop on amazon all day then complain about the work not being finished on time.
