    Very Cutthroat Type of Environment

I worked at Covance full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I worked in the call center. Pay seems good, once you become permanent, but you have to work as a temporary person for about a year, making lower than average wages.

    Cons

Very sharp learning curve. They will give you, and I am not joking, one day to completely grasp the data part of the job, or you are gone. They hire more people than they need, and then weed most everyone out. If you aren't young and attractive, don't bother.

    Advice to Management

Have Adults Do The Training, Not 12 Year Old Boys!

  2. Worst professional experience ever

    Doesn't Recommend
    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

Reasonable benefits package, with employee appreciation events and mechanisms for peer appreciation

    Cons

Blatant gender-based wage discrepancies; glass ceiling in certain departments, with relatively pervasive nepotism; emphasis on financial success over quality and ethics
