Current Employee – been working at Coventry Health Care full-time for more than a year

Pros – I've been employed for less than 2 years. Upon joining the company, I found that training was paced very reasonably, onboarding was structured and peers were very helpful as I learned my role. It's been a fantastic experience with a very respectful and team oriented culture. Extremely employee oriented, HR team is very supportive, Operations Management is very concerned about their employees. Excellent training, systems and processes.

Cons – For a health care/managed care company, I feel that the employee cost for health insurance is fairly high, which was a bit surprising.

Advice to Senior Management – Evaluate insurance costs to employees, after all, the company is self insured! Also consider offering an HSA as well as PPO and HRA plans.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
