I have been working at Coverity full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Super fast paced, Lots of opportunity for those that are motivated. The product is used to make many of the products YOU use on a day to day basis.

Some of the smartest people I have ever worked with, but make no mistake..*everyone* must pull their weight. Coverity captures the essence of the word "teamwork". From the sales execution to the R&D and support teams, Coverity employees make the awesome technology that makes the company. Solid leadership and solid execution quarter after quarter.

Fantastic management team that care about the company and employees AND are not afraid to make the right changes to ensure success.

Cons

There is no "down time", but this is the software business. You should look long and hard at your software company and it's track record if you expect downtime in enterprise software. Doesn't happen with successful companies!

I worked at Coverity full-time for more than a year

    Pros

As many said... the pay it good... for the time you work there. It's a nice location. The one product that sells is good. People outside of senior management are for the most part friendly.

    Cons

The market growth potential is weak with only a single product. Rather than really look to the core problem - lack of products - the company company just fires and hires new people... all the time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get your act together and focus on creating better products that start with assessing your customer's needs. Also... figure out who your market. Treat your employees with more respect - try grooming them... Mostly act a little more professional.

I worked at Coverity full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Product is very interesting, snacks in the kitchen, but then most companies have that...

    Cons

As an employee you are expendable at any time. Upper management seems to be always chasing their tail which has a negative trickle down effect. CEO runs around in slippers and seems to be ammused at the stressful environment he has created.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Actually care about your employees. When people are leaving and/or getting fired all the time it is hard to have a consistent goal to work towards
