Pros

1. Small company - less heirachy layers - only Manager/Director
2. Everyone knows what everyone is working on: In bigger companies there is much more territorial boundaries

Cons

1. Highly disorganized workplace
2. Rarely does one follow any process
3. Due to lack of resources, corners are cut to meet deadlines: All projects I worked on were already due on the date I transitioned over. In a way you are forced to produce a deliverable, just so that one can checkmark it. Concept of quality is absolutely missing.
4. Every project is a firedrill
5. Company specializes in hiring non degreed personnel, and the quality is a direct result thereof. Management is more focused on getting the product out of the door, rather than quality...

Advice to Senior Management

Get organized and stop just talking about it - but then again they have done this for years and years. Due to lack of resources it is the way it is.
