Covidien – “Covidien: Good US leadership - Not so good HR and exec management support from corporate”

Pros

They're still "newbies" and there are still many rabbits that can easily be pulled from the hat. Allows them to "oooooooh and aaaaaaah" at the most mundane contributions

Cons

US exec management is superb. Corporate management leaves quite a bit to be desired.

Advice to Senior Management

Corporate: Look to the talent at the division level. They are motivating and support their management teams
