    I have been working at Cox Communications full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    The people at Cox are great, as are the benefits. The pay is very reasonable, and there are plenty of opportunities for commisions in any of the call center positions. You work hard at Cox, but you get back more than what you put in. Career advancement is a common theme - many friends of mine started out in the call center and have moved up or around alot inside the company. It is HARD WORK - no bones about that - but it can be very rewarding both financially and personally.

    Cons

    Call center work can be very stressful. Come to Cox expecting to work and learn alot in ways you can't even consider at this time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Devote more resources to keeping people on long-term so that customers gain from the experience of tenured representatives. Your front-line people are your best link to your customers - give them more reasons to love what is already an awesome job.
