Pros

The people are good to work with and dealing with the customers, especially the regulars, is a lot of fun.

Cons

Sometimes a four-hour shift turns into a 2 hour shift when there are slow times. Like most retail operations, you're never sure how many hours you will get from week to week.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

The par 4 employees should be rewarded for there loyalty. That means they should have a consistent schedule and a consistent number of hours. The penny pinching by bean counters needs to end.

    Pros

    Employees good to work with and helpful, PAR levels allow you to gain more in hourly wages and discounts

    Cons

    Policies like "One Stop Shop" (try to take customer's order on the greet) make customers feel rushed. Servers are spread thin and expected to take care of every need for other servers' tables at risk of neglecting their own tables. Tips are generally poor.

    Pros

    Good tips, flexible hours. other than that not very many good things. If the runners don't run food it gets cold and customers complain

    Cons

    uniform, no sick days, the scheduler either has too many servers on the floor or not enough.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    The reason you have so many turnovers with managers and GMs is, and servers is cause of how strict policy is. Our store had an 80% turnover because who wants to work for jerks.
