Pros

Great people who generously give their time and resources back to the community. Interesting customers. Honest and ethical leadership. A clear understanding that people have lives outside of work. Love my job.

Cons

Company has very demanding customers and it needs better mentoring programs.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Since we spend 1/3 of our life at work, keep working hard to make us a successful company. Don't forget about the importance of fun.

    The first 20 years were great while the last 3 years were the worst of my 35+ year engineering career.

    Pros

    The Elyria, Ohio site has some great people working there. Flexibility in working hours is allowed to the extent that it will not effect customer deliverables.

    Cons

    The management team is wrapped up in charts and graphs with no value put on workers. Management has eliminated all 20+ year experienced employees in an effort to reduce operating costs. All work that can be digitized is being out sourced to over seas company s. Many manufactured parts are being out-sourced also. Most managers are looking for "yes-men" to staff their departments and they will eliminate employees that disagree with their ideas.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Put the value back into your workers rather than your charts and graphs. Just "look at" what can be accomplished by good employees in this country rather than out-sourcing.
