“Sad to see how the company has changed.”
I worked at Crate & Barrel full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – The people, coworkers and clients
The discount
Flexibilty
Cons – Corporates lack of understanding of longevity and loyalty. Employees are not rewarded for these valuable attributes. From what I hear from friends who feel "stuck" there, the restructuring and new policies have left them feeling very unhappy.
Advice to Senior Management – Customer service is diminishing, product selection can be found at other retailers. If they continue to loose the very people who built the company, the future is bleak.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
