    I have been working at Crawford & Company full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Its a job, when so many people are out of work.

    Cons

    Unrealistic time constraints.
    Cheat commissioned employees. Under pay the rest.
    Sales Reps give the work product away. It is obvious they have no field experience, thus no idea what it takes to handle a claim.
    The amount of work requested on each file increases, while your service fee decreases.
    Your expenses are paid back to you as income, thus taxed.
    No cares about you, and no one will back you up. They will hang you out to dry in a heart beat.
    To many middle managers, Assistant VP's for everything under the sun. Thus, to many Chiefs and and not enough Indians.
    Basic training only. Anything else you have to figure out for yourself.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Stop squeezing the life out of the people who actually perform the services you are attempting to sell to the industry. Stealing from your employees in an attempt to increase revenues does not work.
