Pros

Excellent firm, great reputation, very conservative balance sheet (which is germane especially now).

Nothing comes to mind really.

Advice to Management

Continue to consolidate our leadership position and take advantage of our strengths given market conditions.

    Pros

Opportunity to work at a global firm. Opportunities do exist for those who really put forth the effort to be noticed and move internally within the company.

    Cons

In the Raleigh office, the compensation is entirely unfair. They are doing their best to truly make this a "low cost" backup site for New York so much so that they are stealing many of the employees. It is no surprise, they recently upped the base salary for all ops analysts and specialists as they were being well underpaid. This trend continues upward.

    Advice to Management

To truly abide by the compensantion policy where the top performers are truly paid like top performers.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Decent reputation, relatively high job security (provided that you aren't a bigshot). Benefits are good.

    Cons

For the IT back office area, lack of advancement opportunity, full of deadwood. It is not uncommon to see people working for over 10 years with same (low level) title and very little pay raise. However, if you move up and work in some less desirable areas, you better watch out as you will be the first to go when the axes come down. The worst thing is, there are not that many desirable areas that you can go/choose. Many people quickly got dragged into support roles and never make it back.

    Advice to Management

up or out isn't a bad idea, that's include senior management. there are ways too many middle management.
