Current Employee - OTR Company Driver  in  Lincoln, NE
Current Employee - OTR Company Driver in Lincoln, NE

    Pros

Good miles and really decent pay.

    Cons

Dispatchers are still rude and take their sweet time getting back to you; No Holiday Pay and the only Holiday we are guaranteed home is Christmas and that is just for the day; Get stuck sitting during Holidays because the majority of customers are closed, so why do we need to be sitting and not at home? New Asset manager program seems to be starting to work, really rough at the start; Not any real way to communicate with Upper Management, which is frustrating.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate with Drivers; get Dispatchers to treat us like human beings, not just a truck with a number on it; I would take a slight cut in pay if the Company would give us paid Holidays, whether we are out or at home because we usually wind up sitting anyway; Get feedback from us on equipment instead of just ordering what the company wants, we're the ones that have to drive.
