    Pros

Challenging work; experience gained is great resume filler

Modern headquarters buildings in San Diego and Denver.

    Decent pay and benefits

    Cons

The company has not turned a consistent profit (or found an effective corporate strategy) for years. Yet despite the economic downturn its closest rival, Metro, has stayed profitable. The cost-cutting is constant, with no long-term strategy for spending and staying within budgets.

There are too many projects, that often don't tie back to an overall corporate strategy, and with sometimes duplicate and/or contradicting goals and objectives. Lots of in-fighting and animosity between departments, and sometimes within functions.

Although the Denver and San Diego headquarters buildings are modern with nice amenities, the pleasantry stops there. In terms of culture and how people are treated, Cricket says they want to be one of the best places to work. But here's what's really going on: the workforce has been cut so thin employees are worked to the bone with no end in sight. Performance evaluations are a joke. Promotions and career advancement are based on the clique you're associated with, not actual performance. There's so much back-stabbing, mudslinging, blaming, and throwing people under the bus, the environment is TOXIC. Many employees leave at the point they can stomach no more, usually after 2 - 3 years.

Why 2 headquarters - San Diego and Denver?

    Advice to Management

Please sell off this business to the highest bidder, and move on.
