    Pros

Nice work environment. Friendly employees. Solid benefits. You can get a job because so many people have left the company. There is great work-life balance right now because so little is going on in the company. Come in at 9 and be gone before 5. What work they do have is just trying to keep the doors open until the AT&T acquisition.

    Cons

Directors with only 2-4 employees under them in the corporate office. VP's with 3 or less direct reports, excessive SVPs. This leaves too few people to actually do the work. Leadership looks for the quick fix, silver bullet. Example: they wanted to expand to affluent neighborhoods to attract high-end consumers. Problem is, affluent consumers would never consider a brand like Cricket. Cricket had all the research to say not to go down that path, but leadership and their opinions won. The result was millions wasted on failed stores in the wrong locations. Another was signing Blackberry when it was on its way down. They didn't ask the consumer. Company has experienced huge turnover. All the good talent has left. There are still good people left, but little talent. Most of the people who are left are there to collect a paycheck, not to make a difference.

    Advice to Management

Dump the CEO, ax the CTO (not a team player), get rid of all the CFO's and former CFOs that are running the company like a finance team and get some innovators in the leadership. Lay off half of the Directors and above and replace with workers.

    Pros

The pay is great. They offer benefits and you meet interesting people daily.

    Cons

Management is horrible. HR is given way too much power and meddles. Too much politics. Perception is everything to them. You are not rated on what you do but what is said about you by others.

    Advice to Management

Focus on your front line employees. They are the bread and butter of the business.
