Pros

You work here for the excitement to be connected with brands that are intertwined with pop culture - CP+B contributes directly to pop culture and it's pretty exciting to be around. There are very smart people that work here, and you can learn a lot if you ask the right questions and always try to contribute. CP+B is a very pave-your-own-way agency, and things will not just happen for you - you have to go after them. They allow dogs in the workplace, so it's fun to see a furry face once in awhile.

Cons

Certain departments see VERY long hours, and sometimes they work around the clock. But that's advertising, and since some of the work changes on a weekly basis or is updated with the newest happenings in the world, it's natural that late nights will occur. It's pretty clique-y, which is okay if you're one of the cool kids, but can be frustrating if you just want to do a good job and go home.

Advice to Management

Pretty good job making the overall vision of the agency's future clear to all, but not as obvious (and also not touched upon often) is how each individual department will continue to contribute to that overall goal.

    Pros

A great brand and former great agency. A somewhat good location. Pingpong Table. Free Water and Beer sometimes for moral.

    Cons

long hours due to poorly run creative.
    Ideas hijacked.
    Big egos, small people.
    Poor to no leadership.
No mentorship for juniors because seniors are putting out fires.

    Advice to Management

There is no leadership to give advice to unfortunately, but if there were, they should be aware that they need to hire people with leadership skills.

    Pros

    Dogs allowed in office
    Free food
    Free rides to airport

    Cons

Nothing that hasn't already been echoed by dozens on this site, the cons are all the same
My biggest problem was with management and overall lack of accountability of senior leaders
There is very little people management done by management
Don't expect performance review, managers aren't required to do them
Managers, as far as I could tell, were not held to any performance related goals so no accountability
Don't work in the media group, there are no media accounts and what little media does come in is usually a consultative role (weak growth potential due to leadership)
Egos abound, and fraternity like environment
Average tenure is 2 yrs, so you will always hear coworkers discussing about other jobs

    Advice to Management

Read this site. Do 360 degree reviews. Get managers the training they need if you intend to keep them when their subordinates rate them poorly. Show some guts and run a company not a fraternity.
