Current Employee – been working at Crista Ministries

Pros – Faith based with opportunity to integrate faith with work experience. Supportive of further education/training opportunities within the industry. Non-profit/mission focus. CRISTA is made up of 7 ministries, so opportunity for growth within the non-profit sector is high. Beautiful campus, high caliber employees who are both professional as well as "mission focused" with a desire to serve. A company with an over 60 year business/ministry legacy. Rich history meeting the needs of seniors for over 63 years and reaching all over the world with other ministries who serve the disadvantaged while sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.

Cons – Because of the age of the ministries, processes tend to be cumbersome, fragmented and outdated. The CCRC environment is being forced to look at the world differently because of the world's economic changes and CRISTA Senior Living is making gallant efforts to be at the forfront of those changes. Leadership tends to be facilitative at times when a more directive approach would support quicker changes.

Advice to Senior Management – Continue to honor God first in all decisions and continue to make professional excellence an integral part of the hiring process.
