Employees are not seen as assets, just financial liabilities!

    Pros

The clients, not much else now!

    Cons

Forcing employees to work 12 hr shifts to save money, while management forces taking on ventilator patients that increase costs astronomically, just to "appear" to be a "hospital"! Management has there own agenda, and will not listen to staff when they make suggestions to avoid problems. Hence, we go from crisis to crisis!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

OPEN YOUR EYES!! LISTEN TO YOUR STAFF!!!

  2.

Great co-workers, poor pay scale, occasionally violent clients.

I worked at Crotched Mountain Foundation full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Beautiful setting, mostly caring and supportive managers, work can be joyful, training is quite good, good benefits.

    Cons

Clients coming in were increasingly violent and emotionally troubled, adding to stress and potential danger of work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Invest more in keeping good people. The annual raises do not keep pace with cost of living.
