    Pros

It's a younger crowd, and everyone is friendly.

    Cons

Instead of hiring enough personnel, you're expected to work longer hours and come in on the weekends to finish all rating and quotes.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Instead of changing protocol every week and blowing a fuse when someone forgets which was it's supposed to work that day, it's better to actually find something that works and improve on it. As well, it's best to learn to control your anger problems.

Not so much "lean & mean" as "just plain anorexic". . .

    I worked at Crump Group

    Pros

Good company to "get your foot in the door" with, if you're just starting out. The company likes young talent.

Great company for gaining a good working knowledge of both the banking and software industries.

Nearly everyone encountered is very friendly, easy to work with, and willing to lend a helping hand to others. The company atmosphere is also very open and gay-friendly.

    Cons

The company is ridiculously understaffed for the amount of work to be generated on a regular basis. As a result, putting in occasionally long hours is more the rule than the exception.

Pay raises are skimpy, regardless of merit. --- Usually just slightly exceeding your yearly standard-of-living increases.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give more acknowledgment and rewards to extraordinary employees. Expand your benefits package. Provide more enticements to retain your employees.
