Pros

The only pro I can say about working for Culver is that if you are 22, fresh out of college, and still live with the parents, it's a great job to knock you down and show you what it's like in the real world.

Cons

Where to start... from as early as the interview stage that is where the lies begin. A day in the life of a Culver Recruiter is having to be in the office by 7am and spending your entire day until about 5pm or later being slave driven to Cold Call all day. You are extremely micro managed even though you are told that you own your desk. Most of the offices are ran by managers that are money hungry recruiters and can't lead and train a team because they are too busy hustling themselves hoping that their team will perform so that they get their cut. Descent projects are given to the favorites, lack luster recruiters are not given additional training or constructive criticism.. just nothing to work until they are driven to quit. The culture is about as unprofessional as you can get, creating an unhealthy environment. Turnover is Extremely high, the company used to have 22 offices and 200 recruiters, currently there are 5 left left with as little as 4 people working in each. The pay structure is the biggest joke of it all. You are paid 13 bucks an hour to do aggressive sales and good luck on ever seeing a commission check!

    Pros

-Amazing earning potential - uncapped commission! -Performance based incentives (both personal and team) - President's Club and Quota Club trips, company retreats, team dinners, gift cards, etc. -Merit based promotions and 3 promotion paths to choose from (I've been with the company 2 years, and have been promoted 3 times already) -Amazing company culture that the management team works hard to keep exciting -The management team is very open minded, and welcome suggestions -Great open door policy with the executives. I know I can always count on them when I need them -The people - some of the nicest people you will ever meet! -Fun job all around! Always different every day

    Cons

Sales isn't for everyone. There will be bumps along the way, so you have to be resilient in order to make it. This isn't a job where you can just show up and expect good things to happen. You will have to work hard, but you'll definitely get out what you put in.
