I have been working at Cummins

Pros

Good place to get technical experience. Work ethics are great with stress on diversity and treatment of others. Salary is okay.

Cons

Advancement is challenging. Rating and ranking is not always fair. Salary can be better but they are working on it.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to appreciate people who are motivated and hard working. Rating and ranking should be revised to incorporate fairness.

I have been working at Cummins

    Pros

Cummins is america's greatest manufacturer of diesel engines. It has significant and profitable growth opportunities ahead and will be a great place to work.

    Cons

Six-sigma is forced upon employees in cases where it is not the best way to solve a problem. Also locations are a bit at odd places.
