“Working at Cummins RMEP”
Current Employee – been working at Cummins full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Cummins invest in the development of it's employees.. Working there has given me the opportunity to learn marketable skills I can use in other businesses
Cons – There are limited opportunities for the hourly employees to grow within the company. Promoting within is rarely practiced.
Advice to Senior Management – There are a lot of hourly employees with degrees that the company invested in who are looking for an opportunity to grow within the company. Get a return on the investment by utilizing the talent, experience and education that is in house. Give the internal employees a chance before hiring externally.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
