Pros

Looks good on a resume. Future employers like the fact that you worked for a global corporation. Good benefits and offices are usually in some of the better buildings.

Cons

Management is very bad, smile to your face and stab you from behind. If your an established real estate pro or if your father has made his mark in the business this is the place to be, if not don't bother. Over compinsated older brokers (55+) rule the land.
Support services are weak, computer or phone not working? Good luck you could be down for days.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop brining in the "Good Ole Boys/Girls" to make CW CBRE, its not working. Maybe consider brining back the old IT department, they were good loyal workers who kew what they were doing.

    Pros

C&W WAS a great company to work for. Most of the people are decent. there really is nothing PRO to say about CW these days.

    Cons

After the real estate market bubble burst Sr. Mgmt decide to "lay-off" the people that did the work and keep their "drinking buddies" I was fortunate to have been spared but after all the lay-offs the wrong people were let go. IT IS A JOKE, they hired an inept and incompetent director who protects the people that he likes.
Here is the biggest joke of them all - My laptop is in desperate need of a re-build and my phone keeps on dying. The PC group ignores my pleas and the telecom manager says she is not responsible for the phones

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

1.Pull your heads out of the sand
    2. Hire competent IT people (or get hte old ones back)
    3. Treat staff with respect
