Pros

I really enjoy working with the marketing VP, he's one of those unique leaders that really cares about his people and challenges them to improve. It's a young environment with lots of great energy and a good busy work pace. It's nice to work for a growing company, always lots of new things going on to keep things interesting.

Cons

Typical growing pains of a high growth company; office space is a premium, moving around, lots of new people.

Advice to Management

Provide corporate sponsored management training.

    Pros

Fast growing company. Good career growth in the company. Somewhat Flexible work hours.

    Cons

Less Compensation. No work life balance. Micromanagement. Management just look for hours you work rather the actual work.

    Advice to Management

Don't micromanage. Just let the leads manage.

    Pros

If you haven't been able to find a job after graduation this might be a option for you. They do offer a solid training program to make sure that you are pro with the product and market. This training last almost two months and they consider this their value add to your career. Cvent has good benefits and gym membership. Their employees are attractive people. They have strong company pride as well. If you don't care about starting a career then this may be and option for you, otherwise this is going to be a massive backslide.

    Cons

Limited activity in your role. Get used to saying the same message over and over. Leads are researched but they are cold. NOT A PROFESSIONAL ENVIRONMENT. Get ready for offensive statements and hungover co-workers. The grid here is unreal. You will be expected to make over 70 cold calls day and still handle other responsibilities. Manager is very unprofessional and can't handle managing anyone over 21 years old. WORST PAY IN THE AREA! They will say that you can make good money here but they changed the comp plan 4 times in just a few months to keep their cost down. You have to also sign a 2 year bond for the training program and if you decide this company is not for you....they are going to charge you over 7,000 for your training.

    Advice to Management

Get more experienced managers. Don't make racist or homophobic jokes/comments about your staff members. This bond business for training is a joke and should keep out serious candidates. Good Luck.
