- Exposure to several types of companies.
- Process of management operating system installation is well developed.
- Learn how to change supervisor behaviors and help them with development.
- Above average financial compensation.
- Cost savings results are recognized.
- Earn miles/points for future vacation and travel.
- Learn basics of six sigma and lean manufacturing practices.
- Excellent way to learn balance between discipline of behavior and use of metrics.

Cons

- You are unwelcome from the moment you walk in, not there to make friends.
- Project experience and professional growth based on who the project manager/chief is.
- Non-existent HR.
- Not enough concentration on well-crafted/highly useful tools for supervisors/managers.
- Guarantee to client results in less than honest numbers for performance improvements.
- Poor evaluation of associate performance at times.
- Like other jobs, advancement is not always based on described methods and relies on who likes you.
Very general management skills, will not allow for easy next employment if in DB&A for too long.

Advice to Management

Recent improvements will go a long way in associate retention. Closer attention needs to be paid to new associate interaction with the client. Associates who do not move up need to be moved out to make room for fast performing associates. Higher level management that is not moving on/retiring needs to be reshuffled to allow for continuous upward movement.

    Pros

Good job if you are single or semi-retired.
Will learn a lot in first 12 months.
Good product, use system to become Manager level type.
Good base pay for under 5 yrs experience.

    Cons

Travel, if you have a family you see them 48 hours on the weekend.
The longer with the company, learning becomes stagnant, you are the trainer.
Long days, 16 hours on analysis or beginning project.
May get placed in an envorinment you have little to no experience and expect to direct highly experienced Managers.

    Advice to Management

Working for this company is a valuable experience. Training of senior associates is on the decline. It would be nice to offer additional and paid training seminars to further develop lead staff and PM's do offset time on the 'beach'.
