I worked at DFS Group

Pros

Under the LVMH umbrella
Good growing business
Some very competent managers
Increasingly dedicated to employee development
Opportunities to be posted overseas

Cons

Like all organizations, political fight is a problem. Sometimes promotions are decided not on the basis of merit but on relationship.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Introduce more rigorous processes of accountability. Attract more high calibre people to the organization. Use more analysis in merchandising decisions.
