    Pros

Access to some accomplished consultants who are experts in their practice areas.
Ability to work on searches in various industries.
Top tier clients on the DHR side.

    Cons

No HR dept to speak of...current HR Manager was an admin and has no HR experience. The former Director lasted less than two months.
    No internal training program.
Small group of insiders control everything from Chicago.
Significantly lower pay than competitors, promotions are lacking.
Performance evaluation given after a year with no feedback in between.
Poor health benefits and no culture.
All about the consultants which allows them to treat associates poorly with no consequences.
Some recruiting practices are questionable bc the main focus is to fill searches.

    Pros

Have some of the strongest Consultants in the industry
    Godo client base

    Cons

Big gap between research force and consultant
Risk free zero base profit sharing model helps eliminate under perform Consultant yet transfer revenue generating project research force into pure company's pure cost

    Advice to Management

Focus more on mid to long term objective, create certain company cultural and focus on retention.
