I worked at DIRECTV full-time for more than a year

Pros

Good hours sicne they're 24 hours and decent pay, also flexible to medical issues as much as they can be

Cons

expect a lot from employees especially for sales

Advice to ManagementAdvice

slight more leniency when it comes to sales not every rep has to make the company nearly 20 times there annual salary a month.

    I worked at DIRECTV full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    The wonderful customer that you meet, and the nice people you work with.

    Cons

    Every. Thing. Else. This was a position that you would gladly throw under the bed and hope that no one finds out about it. The company I worked for was a subcontractor to DirecTv. This company must have had a slogan that read:

    "For little to the worker."

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Consider those that work from 6am to 9pm. Those who show up for work positive, and excited to do what they do. Don't offer piece work, pay a decent salary and you will hold on to those who put you before themselves.

    I worked at DIRECTV full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Good pay, great coworkers, and some decent supervisors. Monthly bonus was great but very hard to achieve it.

    Cons

    Treated crappy. No communication between QA and management which makes it impossible to do a great job. Customers are almost always extremely rude. Almost all supervisors are extremely unknowledgable. Policies and procedures change daily but you aren't informed of them until its too late. Used to be great but new upper management killed every good thing this company had going for it

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Treat employees like you care and not so replaceable. Get a better handle on what customers really want.
