I have been working at DIRECTV full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The greatest benefit of working for Directv was the money. If you are looking for a company that will pay you well for the job that you do, provide you with attainable bonuses, and offer affordable healthcare, than Directv is a good place to look.

    Cons

Upon completing training you are placed in a group of roughly 15 employees, this is your team. You should not get comfortable to your team. Within the first 2 months of working for Directv I was moved to 3 different teams within 2 different departments and told to buy in to the team mentality each time. Basically you are treated like a nameless, faceless number...but hey, the money is good right.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be honest about the fact that it is not a place that more than 1% of the employees will make a career at. You know that most of the employees coming through your doors are not going to be there for much longer than a year so stop the hard push on buying into the Directv experience. Continue to provide agents with comfortable places to take breaks, a good paycheck with quick and solid bonuses, and of course the free tv service and you will have happy agents.
