The Good, The Bad, and The Very Bad.

Field Service Specialist I (Former Employee)

ProsThere were some great people and the managers were helpful. The pay was great and there was plenty of work to be done.

ConsMy field coach spent more time criticizing my driving than teaching me the job. The managers didn't allow him to really show me how to do it and then expected me to meet all the performance metrics that experienced technicians have to meet. Management doesn't care about getting you home at a reasonable time and you will spend 12 or more hours a day working. If you aren't out that late, you have little or no work at all.

Advice to Senior ManagementActually train people, listen to them instead of criticizing, and spread out the work so people can see their families.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

    Not the worst, not even close to average.

    Pros: Middle management tends to have a better grasp of this than upper management, but some people within the company can… Cons: As a generality, management does not care about developing employees that show promise. Rather than taking the time to develop them into a strong suitor… Advice to Senior Management: Offer training for individuals that are willing to learn what other positions or departments really consist of, and you will end up with stronger initial… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company… More
