I have been working at DISH full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

Management is very cooperative & try to help &work with their employee.

Cons

some manager follow the company guidelines, In case if employee caught in traffic jam or some emergencies, employee will be marked as late.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

If the employee has been punctual for a long time, occasionally traffic jam or some emergencies should not be considered as a tardy because no body has control over natural causes. Even you leave early to get to work, things can happen that can make you late occasionally but they should not be as strict, they should be more understanding.

    I worked at DISH full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    The pay was good to say the least

    Cons

    Training program is too short and needs serious improvement
    Customer service always got work orders wrong= longs jobs= angry customers
    Equipment constantly malfunctioned (Dish's dish cant tell the difference between their own satellites and direct tv's=long jobs= angry customers
    High turnover rate and crappy benefits
    Mandatory overtime= Ridiculously long work hours and work weeks (imagine working 12-14 hours a day 5 days a week)
    Unfair treatment of employees, would lay you off if you made too much money and hire someone and pay them less.
    The future does not look promising for this company and for its people. Statistically speaking this company has had the same amount of customers for the past 4 years, in other words not only is there a high turnover rate as far as employees leaving, they can hardly hold onto their customers! If you absolutely need the money and trying to get a job here, prepare to become a workaholic because you have no social/family life working here.

    Get rid of the mandatory overtime and start caring for your employees improve the work benefits and customer service needs a overall makeover. Its never a good thing to get rid of the good ones just because they're making to much.
