I have been working at DISH full-time (more than an year)

Pros

good co workers to work with

Cons

This company blows, the hrs are way too long 10-14 hr days, and you have no life outside of work. Most of the time your tired from a long day of work. Company will keep you working until your dead!!! Unrealistic goals to meet, shitty equipment that always goes bad, goes out during rain storms. You work in bad weather conditions, rain, snow, heat, blizzards etc. You work holidays and get shitty pay. Training for new hires is a joke, you do work that level 4's do and are on your own on a job. Also you have to be a sales person and sell things that are over priced, all that management cares about is sales. Would mot recommend this job to anyone else, stay away from dish!!

start to care about safety and not sales, bring techs back at 5pm

    I worked at DISH full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    Always have openings due to the high turnover.

    Cons

    Horrible high pressure management. Treat employees like dirt. High turnover as they pride themselves in not having high number of people quite. Also low pay.

    Respect, train, and treat employees like humans.

    I have been working at DISH full-time

    Pros

    A job and that you get three days off (only because I hated being in this poisonous environment).

    Cons

    Overworked and underpaid. They want technicians to do everything. And if anything goes wrong whatsoever guess who's fault it is? You guessed it, the technician's. Metrics are near impossible if not impossible to meet and this is the only way to get a raise. They will send you to training for all kinds of things and expect you to do more work because of it but you won't get paid more for it. Don't work here as a technician, you can do much better, trust me. At almost every meeting the theme was "you don't want to get fired do you?" or "if you don't like it here, leave." Wow how motivating. Turn over rate is ridiculous, technicians constantly coming and leaving. Says a lot about the way they run things in this company. Modern day slavery if you ask me.

    How about some teamwork and building up of people instead of manipulating and using employees.
