Former Employee - Dr Dish TSR III in Tulsa, OK
Former Employee - Dr Dish TSR III in Tulsa, OK

I worked at DISH full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

they offered great wages, constant changes, discounted employee services

Cons

There were constant shift changes based on your ranking with multiple matrix that were not always with in your control. In the 4 years I was there i had 7 manager changes. There were many nights that mandatory overtime was demanded with no prior notice than 10-15 min before my shift was schedule to end. and if you had to leave you were written up. It cause issues with my daycare provider and cost me a lot of extra money due to being late picking up my child.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pros

Starting pay is good and free tv is nice

    Cons

People gets hired and fired or leave dish every day.

    Lied from start to end
You are DISH CSR -> Now you are Dish World CSR!
Got a in-language customer? Do not transfer -> 2 days later -> Ask if they can speak english and transfer.
Metrics and goals you need to meet is insane, if they can get above average on all metrics, it means that they are transferring quicker and more than you.

Benefit is terrible as everyone says. You can still get into debt if you are sick because Dish can't provide enough coverage

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The entire executive management needs to be reorganized. Mimic DirecTV and Comcast. There is value in allowing techs to take home company vans.
