Pros

Fun work atmosphire. Worked with a great team of employees. Learned alot.

Cons

Management team over customer service's lack of communication and assistance.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management needs to work on communication and one on one meetings with their employees. I worked for company before their big expansion and bringing all departments together in one space. It was great management was amazing. Then once that management team moved on to either different positions or different companies the new leadership team was more into blaming all issues on customer service. They used to give one on one meetings regarding your numbers and how your doing and also to see if you would get a raise. After move all that stopped. They would meet amongst themselves and then give write ups but no coaching to assist employees. Very disapointing.

    Pros

    Fun environment. Good team members. Has the potential to be a great company.

    Cons

    No value or understanding of product. Poor leadership from executive management. HR does not support employees but rather the executives and their personal agendas. Open communication is requested, however, if it isn't what they want to hear you will find yourself on the outs and then literally out. Extremely political environment. Excellence isn't rewarded but obedience is.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Executive management should have the skill set to lead, encourage and motivate employees. Don't ask employees to figure out how to manage the executive management. Hire exceptional people. Hiring people you can control and manipulate is not a recipe for success. Be challenged!! Great success comes from relentless effort to improve yourself
    and the environment for those around you.

    I have been working at DMX

    Pros

    The location of the company is central. The facilities are updated and include a gym. Supervisors are generally flexible with vactation and scheduling. Music industry.

    Cons

    No performance reviews, only opportunities to move laterally rather than up. Less than perfect definition of standard operating procedures and departmental roles.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Be more open with the current state of affairs and the direction the organization is heading after so much recent change within the company.
