DP World – “Too much speeches and too many incompetents are promoted.”

Pros

Pretty good job stability in a sector where in the last year thousand of jobs have been lost globally.

Cons

People are not promoted on fair conditions. People don\t stand a chance being promoted. Employees merits are not fairly recognized. Managers take all the credit for the tasks/jobs performed by the regular employees and most of the times they don't have a clue about the things being done within their department. There is no support for the valuable employees, incompetents being appointed in management positions.

Advice to Senior Management

Watch close the people that were promoted in senior positions. If someone have a good speech and a hot tongue that doesn't mean that the individual is a leader or a good professional. You have made wrong decisions in this matter.
