DRS Defense Solutions – “Great but limited”

Pros

You will get a chance to learn a lot on the systems side of IT. It's a good environment to work in, the people are nice, and helpful. If you have a real issue that you don't know how to solve you can contact the NOC for help.

Cons

You don't have much control over everything, if your from the network side of IT there isn't any grow. They don't seem to promote or move people from within. I have applied to a bunch of jobs, for months now, and only heard from back from two but only interviewed for one. Several of those jobs were for the same position.

Advice to Senior Management

Need to do a better job or promoting from within and finding new contracts.
