DRS Technologies – “great place for summer internship”

Pros

-really good pay, also free housing for interns
-very friendly employees
-management cares a lot about intern experience
- interns get to work closely with engineers on real projects

Cons

- very dry cubicle environment
- not a highly productive place to work - very chatty employees
- management satisfied with pretty much any performance, not pushed to succeed further

Advice to Senior Management

I would say that the management needs to focus on ways to boost employee productivity and cut back on idle time. I think higher standards need to be set.
