I worked at DRW Trading full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

-Free breakfast, lunch, and snacks
-Casual dress code
-Wine tastings
-Above average pay

Cons

-Big egos
-Moving up is based on favoritism, not performance
-DRW definitely has a "good ol' boys" club, and if you end up sucking up enough to become part of it, you will be untouchable. For the many that don't - good luck.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get rid of the ego trips and practice what you preach about no tolerance for a-holes. I think that if Don really knew what was going on with all of the office politics, he would be greatly disappointed.

Fair and merit based. More collaborative than most trading firms.

    Pros

Fair and merit based. More collaborative than most trading firms.

    Cons

Trading in general is a tough industry and not for everyone. You don't see too many people move up after leaving DRW, but they can do very well while at DRW.

    I worked at DRW Trading

    Pros

Free breakfast, lunch, and snacks are good perks and the benefits are pretty good. Pay and bonuses are above average and you get to work on the latest technology.

    Cons

The downside of working here is being prepared to work in a "high school" environment. There is a lot of backstabbing and if you didn’t work there for more than four years you are looked down on. Management is like a bunch of bullies and are very vindictive if you go against them.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Not much since nothing would change.
