Pros

It is a stable place to work. There are always work to do and opportunities for overtime. The new leadership of IT is doing great things.

Cons

It has an old culture. A lot of people are invested in the status quo and they will do anything to keep it. Many people in IT does not like to share information because they are scared that you will take their job. There are a lot of people related. They tolerant people that do not do anywork.

Advice to Senior Management

Find ways to get rid of people that are not doing their job because it brings down the morale in a department. Find a way to change the old culture where people get where they are because of who they know and not what they know.
