I have been working at Dairy Farmers of America

    Pros

Mature industry; 30% market share fluid milk; brand name recognition; staff excellent; members excellent; scale is huge; impact is regional; great Chairman of the Board.

    Cons

Customer concentration risk - 50% sales to 10 customers; low gross margins; fluctuating management strategies; shallow well for management; good-ole boy network; dislikes older workers and targeting lower wages; corporate office is a known bully pulpit with huge egos; bystanders get run over!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Build COE for professional and executive level positions; don't subordinatie member payments to debt service because your litigation hens are coming home to roost in terms of past deeds.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
